Nekomimi Meltdown ~ ft. GORESHIT
Noxious Wasteland Productions and Kitty on Fire Records link up to bring you the breakcore Seattle deserves!
Come join us at the Underground to kick off the beginning of Summer for a night of obnoxiously fun and fast music, cosplay, and art.

In honour of summer starting, and the name of the record label coming to us from Canada, Nekomimi Meltdown is the name of the game! Think darker, kawaii, themed cat folks, maybe with a post apocalyptic twist! We're exciteed to see some of the cool outfits you folks put together! Purrhaps we'll have a prize for the best outfit. ð

We are happy to have:
-Super sick visuals by Gumby with Infected Visuals Crew
-A merch booth area as well as vending by Atomic Laundry, Ornamint, and KittenKaDoodles
-A more chill-ish area with some black lights up and a bunch of plain white sheets to decorate with UV fabric markers

So I guess you folks wanna know whos playing, right? Weve got some real treats in store for you!

goreshit - UK Breakcore Legend. Over a decade in the game.
Breakcore. Dancecore. Lolicore. Speedcore. Ambient Techno.

Goreshit is an electronic artist known particularly for his contributions to the genre lolicore, a genre based on speedcore, mashcore and breakcore, but with samples of either high-pitched anime characters or pitched samples of other miscellaneous material. He started in 2005 as a two-piece black metal band. The first album was released on June 1 2007. Shortly thereafter, the band split and he took on the name "Goreshit" and starting making /core genres. Goreshit has been featured on many internet radio show broadcasts, including well known happyhardcore.com, and has played larger events, including Bangface Weekender two years in a row now.

Ancient Origin - DnB/Breakcore Producer. Trap Influences and Cute AF samples.

Ancient Origin 'origin'ates (why, thank you) from Boston where he has been producing for 80 billion years, hence the 'ancient.' He's produces and djs all sorts of music, mostly 240 bpm breakcore and 160 bpm halftime dnb and hip hop. He's also produced music and sound effects for several video games and been part of compilations for many underground internet labels.

Hitori Tori - Vancouver Breakcore Legend.
Prolific Catalogue. Renoise Tracker Hacker.
IDM. Breakcore.

Agitated breaks become combined with tweaked arpeggiated synth lines, some cut up vocals, and a few lugubrious tones thrown into the background for good measure. Early releases included IDM tracks under the artist name 'Finch' on the Omniscience Compilation (Sugarmonk/Interchill Records) in 1999 alongside other notable artists. A full-length album under the artist name 'Fasp' was released on the Nishi net-label in 2002. In the years beyond, Hitori Tori has seen a hand full of EPs and releases on net labels such as Peace Off, Meta0, Occult Research Records, and most recently, Kitty on Fire Records. Hitori's live performance videos have received praise in publications such as Computer Music Magazine and Create Digital Music. Hitori Tori was also featured on the Bangface Weekender lineup multiple times.

Lootcanal - Breakcore. Acid. Footwork. Chiptune. And everything in between.
"Shit music for life."

Lootcanal is an obsessive mixer and a very high energy DJ. She is the mastermind behind the eclectic "Angura" series of electronic music nights up in Vancouver Canada.

Graz - Grazcore. Hi-Energy Rave. Hard Dance. Hardware Chiptune.

Graz is a Seattle-based multi-genre electronic dance music producer. Beyond producing Graz specializes in vinyl djing, is the labelhead of digital imprint Ravertooth Tiger (ravertoothtiger.com) and hosts a weekday radio segment on KNHC 89.5FM (c895.org) called the 8bit Work Break. The program showcases chiptune and other adjacent genres every weekday on the FM in Seattle, bringing the underground to the masses.

DJ SKIM - DnB/Jungle. Breakcore. Speedcore. Terrorcore. Lolicore. Happy Hardcore. Psytrance. (Ya know, everything yummy.)

Up and coming Seattle based DJ. SKIM has been working in more underground scenes, starting to help throw renegades when she was just a teenager with the strongest passion imaginable to be part of the bigger picture in the rave scene. Nowadays you can find SKIM working on helping coordinate events, as well as spinning at renegades, local raves, and frequently on the long running weekly internet radio show, Spin Spin Super.

Set times TBD.

This event is 21+. Flow toys are welcome, just be mindful of the space we have!
